I spent over a decade managing products in fintech: building financial crime detection systems at Revolut and UBS, and building payment infrastructure at early-stage startups, and others.
The more I worked with the engineers, the more I wanted pulled to be on that side of the table. I was compelled by the hands-on ownership of and working with system designs, and logic: less coordinating and more building. I finally made the leap and became a full-stack software engineer.
